There was so much joy and laughter during this stunning Mt Rainier Elopement. The beauty of an elopement is that you get to choose what your day looks like. This remote backpacking and climbing destination in the North Cascades was absolutely stunning, with mountain views in every direction. It was a location that was special to Hayden and Spencer, as they live and work in the area, and I was thrilled to become familiar with a new spot. I've been gazing at Mt Hood from the tops of Washington peaks for years, always in awe of how beautiful it is from a distance. This was my first time actually visiting Mt Hood and it did not disappoint! Sharon and Tyler asked if I would travel down to one of their favorite spots at the base of Mt Hood for their engagement photos and I jumped at the opportunity to check out a new location.

The morning of Bryan and Jen's couple session the webcams at Mt. Rainier's Paradise Visitor Center showed the views being completely socked in. We decided to stick with our original plan though, knowing that the Paradise area is gorgeous even if the mountain isn't out. By midday we were rewarded with the clouds parting and by sunset, there were stunning views of Mt Rainier and the Tatoosh range! We had so much fun as Bryan and Jen laughed and danced their way down the trail.

This Franklin Falls engagement session with Emily and Adam was absolutely magical. We walked down the forested one mile trail just before sunset and were greeted by the thundering falls. Their playful interactions with each other were so fun to capture!
